Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. (Yang Ming), widely recognized as an excellent shipping service provider, has once again won the “Best Shipping Line – Intra-Asia” award of 2018 Asian Freight, Logistics & Supply Chain Awards (AFLAS), at a ceremony held in Shanghai on May 15th, 2018. President T.S. Chia represented Yang Ming to receive the honor.
The AFLAS Award was hosted and held by Asia Cargo News, while the candidates were nominated and voted by readers around the world. The award is deemed as the most influential in the Asian supply chain. The four criteria used to assess the nomination of “Best Shipping Line” award were maintenance of schedule integrity, effective and easy-to-use IT system backed by efficient and professional customer service systems, comprehensive ports of call on the specific trade, and competitive freight rates for level of service delivered.
Yang Ming is honored to be nominated and won the award from AFLAS two years in a row, and appreciates the supports and recognition from customers worldwide. Yang Ming will continue to enhance its intra-Asia service network and keep providing customers with more reliable and comprehensive service.
