Wan Hai Lines to launch Southeast Asia – India Service VIII (SI8)

Wan Hai Lines is pleased to announce the launch of Southeast Asia - India Service VIII “SI8 service” on 26th April, 2024. This new service will help to expand Wan Hai Lines network in Southeast Asia and West India. This service will be jointly operated with Korea Marine Transport Co., Ltd. and Interasia Lines, by using 4 vessels with nominal capacity of 3,000 TEU. Wan Hai Lines will deploy 2 vessels, while Korea Marine Transport Co., Ltd / Interasia Lines will operate 1 vessel each. SI8 maiden voyage will commence from Port Kelang east bound on 26th April, 2024, it will be a 28-day fixed round trip schedule. The port rotation will be: Jakarta – Surabaya – Singapore – Port Kelang North Port – Mundra – Nhava Sheva – Port Kelang North Port - Jakarta SI8 service will be the pioneer service between Indonesia and West India. Wan Hai Lines is confident that the new service will provide customers with better frequency and service coverage between Southeast Asia and India.
