According to the announcement issued on November 17, 2016 by the Qatar Port Management Company, all container terminal operations at the Port of Doha will be migrated to the new port of Hamad.
The port of Hamad will commence vessel operations, discharging and loading activities from December 1, 2016. The terminal will be opened for export containers from November 23, 2016 at 16:00 hours and operations will run for 24 hours daily.
Port of Doha will cease the acceptance of all vessel discharge and loading operations on November 30, 2016. The terminal will close for export cargoes from November 26, 2016 at 17:00 hours.
