Pacific International Lines' first active dual-fuel ship KOTA EAGLE is well underway with her maiden voyage after departing Ningbo on October 27th and arriving in Manzanillo (MX) on November 11th, 14 hours ahead of schedule.
The vessel followed Manzanillo up with Lazaro Cardenas and Puerto Quetzal, and will visit Callao and Guayaquil before revisiting Manzanillo and heading back to Asia where her first port of discharge will be Busan on January 2nd 2025. She is currently deployed to the PIL - WS2 service where PIL is partnered with Cosco, Evergreen, and Yang Ming Lines, Wan Hai Lines.
She is one of two of PIL's larger dual-fuel ships to be deliverd in 2024 and named on October 15th - her sister ship being KOTA EMERALD. KOTA EMERALD is yet to begin her first voyage or be assigned to an upcoming service and is currently docked in Shanghai.
