MSC & Maersk Line Announce Capacity Changes for Lunar New Year 2025

MSC and Maersk Line jointly announced upcoming cpaacity changes reflecting the early Lunar New Year blanks slotted for February 2025. MSC announced their intentions with individual Asia - Northern Europe, Transpacific, and Asia - Mediterranean advisories on December 12, 2025. Maersk Line referenced upcoming changes in a single advisory on December 16, noting just 6 out of 8 services.

A total of 12 blanked voyages across 8 E/W services shared by Maersk Line and MSC, along with 3 additional blanks on MSC's standalone E/W services. The 2M - NEUR loop 1 || ML - AE5 | MSC - Albatros service which transits the Cape of Good Hope will carry 2 blanks accordingly with it's extra long round trip duration of 112 days.
