Maersk - Withdrawal from Alaska on Transpacific Services

by Hristijan Ivanov

The following release was published by Maersk:

Effective in 2025, Maersk will suspend the Alaska market coverage within North America. We will no longer be calling terminals in Dutch Harbor and Kodiak on the Transpacific Network in the coming year, due to our ongoing effort to strengthen our product offerings and maintain reliability in the network.

The final vessel to sail will be the Cape Sorel, per the below details for the Westbound route.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your business and trust and look forward to continuing to serve your global transportation needs.
