Maersk - Changes to Asia/Latin America coverage

In our aim to continually give you the best ability to manage your supply chain by improving even further our service delivery and customer experience, we would like to inform you of the upcoming changes to our AC services, covering the Far East Asia – West Coast South America, Caribbean, Central America, and Mexico Market.

  • A new AC1 sling will be launched providing extra coverage for Lazaro Cardenas and Posorja, Ecuador. This new service will complement AC2 coverage to these 2 markets with faster transit times from China and Korea
  • AC2 service will remove Posorja, Ecuador from the rotation. Lazaro Cardenas and Manzanillo calls will swap positions. Service will continue providing a reliable service to the Mexico market and access to Caribbean, Central America, and West Coast markets via our Panama hub.
  • AC3 service will remain as-is.

AC2 updated rotation

Shanghai – Qingdao – Busan – Yokohama – Lazaro Cardenas – Manzanillo,MX – Balboa – Lazaro Cardenas, Manzanillo, MX

First vessels under new rotation:

  • AC2: MV Maersk Evora v.426E ETA Shanghai June 25th

  • AC1: Ren Jian 17 v.426E ETA Ningbo July 1st
