The following release was published by HMM:
HMM announced the launch of a new service connecting North Europe and the US West Coast as an official return to Transatlantic trade after the end of service in 2018.
This new service – Transatlantic 1(TA1) connects Northern Europe and the US West Coast, providing customers with expanded coverage and reliable weekly services. TA1 will be operated in collaboration with ONE, ensuring operational efficiency.
The effective voyage will be in the first week of February; TA1 will turn around in 10 weeks(R/V 70days), with the following port rotation: Southampton – Le Havre – Rotterdam – Hamburg – Antwerp – Miami – Cartagena – (Panama Canal) - Rodman – LA/LB– Oakland – Rodman – (Panama Canal) – Caucedo – Southampton
An HMM official said, “Together with the new launch of Transatlantic service (TA1), HMM’s coverage will be further extended across the entire globe by strengthening its global competitiveness. HMM will continuously make an effort to offer customers industry-leading logistic solutions.”
