HMM reshuffles consortium in the Far East and East Coast South America

HMM will reshuffle its consortium with a number of shipping lines with regard to the Far East and South America routes.

Previously, HMM had a co-operative agreement with firms such as Hamburg Sud, Hapag-Lloyd, UASC, CMA CGM, NYK and Cosco.

It will now reshuffle the agreement to work with Hamburg Süd, Hapag-Lloyd, UASC, NYK and Zim, where they can exchange cargo capacity.

As such, the official said the new offering would include 13 boxships, with HMM deploying one 8,000 teu vessel due to depart from Busan port on January 13, 2017.

Main ports of call are:
Busan-Qingdao-Shanghai-Ningbo-Chiwan-Singapore-Port Klang-Sepetiba-Santos-Paranagua-Itapoa (Brazil)-Buenos Aires(Argentina)-Montevideo (Uruguay)-Rio Grande-Navegantes-Itapoa-Santos-Sepetiba (Brazil)-Port Klang-Singapore-Hong Kong-Busan.
