Hapag-Lloyd - Update on VIS, VCS and JPX feeders in Asia

Here’s an exciting update for our feeders within Asia. From this January, we’ll be introducing a few enhancements for three of our feeders.

Have a look at the details of these exciting changes below.

VIS – Vietnam Indonesia Straits Service

We will be adding a Tanjung Pelepas port call to offer direct connections between our established VIS product and our East-West Service Network.

The revised port rotation is outlined below:

Ho Chi Minh (VN) – Tanjung Pelepas (MY) – Singapore (SG) – Belawan (ID) – Penang (MY) – Port Kelang (MY) – Tanjung Pelepas (MY) – Singapore (SG) – Ho Chi Minh (VN) The first vessel under the new rotation will be MV Green Wave V. 033S, expected to arrive at Ho Chi Minh (VN) on January 27, 2025.

VCS – Vietnam Cambodia China Service

We will launch a brand-new feeder product connecting markets of Vietnam and Cambodia especially to our Transpacific and Far East Networks. This feeder will also offer a direct access for the South China market into Cambodia and Vietnam.

The port rotation will be the following:

Sihanoukville (KH) – Vung Tau (VN) – Haiphong (VN) – Yantian (CN) – Shekou (CN) – Sihanoukville (KH) The first vessel for this feeder will be MV Nordatlantic V. 2504N, expected to arrive at Sihanoukville (KH) on January 18, 2025.

JPX – Japan Express

Our JPX will be offering a direct connection between a wide range of Japanese ports and our hub port in Busan (KR).

The port for our JPX feeder will be the following:

Busan (KR) – Shibushi (JP) – Oita (JP) – Moji (JP) – Hakata (JP) – Kwangyang (KR) – Busan (KR) The first vessel on our JPX will be MV HE LE V. 2505E, expected to arrive at Busan (KR) on January 26, 2025.
