Hapag-Lloyd: Temporary Service Suspension – Atlantic Express 4 (AX4) – Alternate Port Pair Coverage

by Patrick Fach-Pedersen

Hapag-Lloyd informs about service changes effective November 2015.

In response to seasonal changes in market demand, the G6 Alliance will temporarily suspend the AX4 in the trade between North Europe and the US East Coast throughout the winter season as of November 2015 until April 2016.

At the same time we are glad to inform you that additional westbound port calls to Savannah will be structurally added to our AX1 and AX3 service to cater for your transportation needs. These calls will supplement our already existing port coverage on **PA1.**The port calls in New York will continue to be offered on our well established services PA1, AX1 and ATA. Thus we will be able to maintain our comprehensive network coverage for both ports to ship your cargo also in the future.

The last AX4 sailing will then take place with the MV Colette leaving Bremerhaven on the 18 November, 2015.
