Hapag-Lloyd: Service Improvement on North Europe-Montreal (Canada) Trade

by Patrick Fach-Pedersen

Hapag-Lloyd informs about a service improvement.

We are pleased to inform you that for the benefit of increased schedule reliability,
Hapag-Lloyd and partner lines have decided to take the following measures:

  • Implementation of a fourth vessel in AT2
  • Replace the Liverpool eastbound call on AT1 by a Southampton call on AT2

Following market requirements we will employ an additional vessel in our AT2 service and replace the direct Liverpool eastbound call from our AT1 service by a direct Southampton call of our AT2 service. With these measures we will maintain our comprehensive port coverage and transit times while providing the required buffer in our schedule to offer reliable products year round.

Effective sailings:

AT1: MSC Alyssa 96E45 ETD Montreal 08.11, ETA Antwerp 18.11
AT2: Montreal Express 59E46 ETD Montreal 05.11, ETA Southampton 15.11

The revised port rotation will be:

  • AT1: Antwerp • Bremerhaven • Le Havre • Liverpool • Montreal • Antwerp

  • AT2: Southampton • Antwerp • Hamburg • Montreal • Southampton
