The following release was published by Hapag-Lloyd:
A General Rate Increase (GRI) from Asia* (excluding Japan) to the West Coast of Latin America, Mexico, Caribbean and Central America, for cargo transported in 20’ and 40’ Dry containers, including High Cube equipment and 40’ Non-operative reefers is coming up. This GRI is applicable to all containers from April 1, 2023, and is valid until further notice.
The details for this increase are listed below:
- 20' Dry Container: USD 350
- 40' Dry Container: USD 500
- 40' High Cube Container: USD 500
- 40’ Non-operative Reefer Container: USD 500
