The following release was published by Hapag-Lloyd:
If you are shipping between India and ports in the Arabian Gulf, here's the latest update for your cargo planning. Our India Gulf Service 1 (IG1) is creating a direct connection from Central India to the Arabian Gulf ports by adding a call at Nhava Sheva.
Jebel Ali (AE) -> Karachi (PK) -> Kandla (IN) -> Nhava Sheva (IN) -> Jebel Ali (AE) -> Dammam (SA) -> Shuaiba (KW) -> Umm Qasr (IQ) -> Jebel Ali (AE)
In addition, our IG1 service will be replacing the port of Mundra with Kandla, moving closer to your cargo hubs in West India. For your reference and planning, here's the first vessel to be calling Kandla under this new rotation:
Northern Discovery 2236W, estimated to arrive at Kandla on September 17, and Nhava Sheva on September 19, 2023
