The following customer advisory was published by Hapag-Lloyd.
We offer you easy access to all your markets in the world
Together, Hapag-Lloyd and UASC offer you an even larger network that spans the globe. Combining and optimizing our global services creates a much larger and improved service network with additional direct port connections as well as competitive transit times. Details of our services can be found in the Joint Service Brochure on our website.
Globally and locally, we link you even more to your customers, suppliers and/or your production facilities. Choose the best services and departure times for your optimal planning to help lower your inventory, handling and administration costs.
The combined service portfolio means Hapag-Lloyd customers gain access to the Middle East market operating from the Mediterranean to the Middle East / Indian Subcontinent as well as dedicated feeder services in the Red Sea and Arabian Gulf.
On the other hand, UASC customers can enjoy access to Canada and South America West Coast services, additional services on the Transpacific and Transatlantic, North America to South America and South Africa to Asia connections. The new entity will also offer UASC customers a Japan – Asia/Europe service and a China to India connection.
In addition to the standalone services that were handled by Hapag-Lloyd and UASC that are now jointly operated, we can also offer you various new products as a member of THE Alliance.
THE Alliance, which launched in April 2017, offers fast transit times, a comprehensive port coverage and deployment of modern and efficient ships. This is possible due to our “best ship for the loop principle” and a dedicated shuttle service design.
More than 240 ships are deployed in 32 services connecting over 75 major ports throughout Asia, North Europe, the Mediterranean, North America, Canada, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Indian Subcontinent and the Middle East with a wide range of direct port-port-connections.
