eeSea has added the upcoming Ocean and THE Alliance services

We at eeSea are pleased to inform you that our database now includes the recently announced services from Ocean Alliance and THE Alliance. They are currently inserted as starting on 1 April 2017. Please note that current services have not yet been cut short.

At this point, only port coverage per trade lane was announced – vessel capacities, as well as actual ETA/ETDs will be announced later.

VSA splits have been estimated at a global level. In the case of THE Alliance, we have included NYK, MOL, and K Line as one company in response to their announced merger. The name and other details of this company will be updated as information becomes available.

Vessel deployment and rotation round-trip times have been set at default values, until further details are published.

Various port details were only communicated in general terms, and we have therefore had to insert default ports, until further details are given. They are as follows:

  • ‘Arabian Gulf Hub’ – Jebel Ali
  • ‘Caribbean Hub’ – Kingston
  • ‘East Med Hub’ – Port Said
  • ‘Pacific North West’ – (CA) Vancouver and Prince Rupert and/or (US) Seattle and Tacoma
  • ‘Pacific South West’ – Oakland, Los Angeles, and Long Beach
  • ‘South Atlantic’ – Savannah and Miami
  • ‘South China/Hong Kong’ – Hong Kong
  • ‘South East Asia Hub’ – Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas and Port Klang
  • ‘UK’ – Felixstowe and Southampton
  • ‘West Med Hub’ – Algeciras and Tanger Med

We will keep these services updated to the best of our ability as more announcements are made. We hope that you find the inclusion of these services helpful, and we thank you for using eeSea!
