CMA CGM to reshuffle its services linking East Med countries, Malta & Libya

As there are always BETTER WAYS to address Intramed market, CMA CGM – Short Sea Lines Division is pleased to announce the reshuffling of our TULYB and GTL services as from WEEK 2&3 between TURKEY | GREECE | CYPRUS | LEBANON | MALTA | LIBYA. New TULYB set up will address the North Turkey – Egypt – Libya markets with very fast and direct connections New GTL set up will address the Greece– Cyprus – Lebanon – South Turkey – Libya markets

These revised weekly services (starting ex Aliaga on January 10th, 2024 and ex Thessaloniki on January 8th, 2024) will enable to maintain sustainable maritime bridges in the whole East Med region and Libya and will offer worldwide connections in our regional hubs of Beirut, Alexandria and Malta.

TULYB main features will be the following:

  • Fleet: 2 vessels x 1,300 TEU nom.
  • Rotation: ALIAGA – GEMLIK – AMBARLI – ALEXANDRIA Old port – MISURATA – ALIAGA
  • Frequency: WEEKLY
  • Starting: ETA ALIAGA 17/01/24
  • Transit times: Ambarli-Misurata in 6 days – Ambarli-Alexandria in 3 days – Gemlik-Misurata in 7 days

GTL main features will be the following:

  • Fleet: 4 vessels x 1,700 TEU nom.
  • Rotation: THESSALONIKI – PIRAEUS – LIMASSOL – BEIRUT – ISKENDERUN – MALTA – TRIPOLI – MISURATA – THESSALONIKI
  • Frequency: WEEKLY
  • Starting: ETA THESSALONIKI 08/01/24
  • Transit times: Thessaloniki-Limassol in 5 days - Piraeus-Limassol in 2 days - Thessaloniki-Iskenderun in 8 days - Iskenderun-Tripoli in 6 days
