COSCO SHIPPING YANGPU was named in Yangzhou, another solid step for COSCO SHIPPING in developing new energy fuel fleets. This is the first of the 28 methanol container ships that will be put in operation between now and 2029. 🚢
As the first in the series, the vessel is:
- 366 meters long
- 1 meters wide
- 16,136 TEU maximum loading capacity
- Capable of completing a one-way voyage between the Far East and the West Coast of America in “Pure Methanol Mode”.
We will see it deployed on the transpacific route very soon. We are ready for a greener and more innovative future.
